What a sweet night for Johnny Depp.  He now owns 2 popcorn trophies for his comedic and villainy performances for Pirates of the Caribbean and Sweeny Todd, respectively. 

 

Oh, Zac Efron won too.  I didn’t feel him when I watched Hairspray though.

 

And hooray for Transformers!  It finally got the recognition for being the best movie last year.  For me, it really was the best…

THE 2008 MTV MOVIE AWARDS AIRS LIVE TONIGHT

So who’s going to win the golden popcorn? Find out later at 8 PM ET. 

 

Watch as the Pussycat Dolls perform their single “When I Grow Up” from their upcoming album.  Coldplay will also be on stage performing “Viva La Vida” off from their new album out June 17. 

 

This is gonna be a one hot night!!!

The coveted popcorn does not have any feet to walk on its own and hand over itself to the declared winner of the night so it has to be handed out.  And what’s the best way to usher the honor? Why not get the biggest stars in showbiz to date?

Isn’t this exciting or what? Guess I have to see the whole thing first before I speak.  And oh, I did see Lindsay Lohan on the list of presenters.  Hmm…

 

 

The 2008 MTV Movie Awards will be airing live from from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 1st.
