BACK AND ALL GOOD

My internet is back and I hope it’s going to stay for good.  Thanks to the two technicians, they’re brothers according to my mom because I was not around when they came by, who repaired my internet connection by modifying my color code back to its proper tower of reception – for lack of better description and explanation on how they’d establish my internet back.  Everything’s fine.

All my gratitude to Smart Bro…

A BREAK FROM BLOG

Nope, I didn’t take any breaks from updating my blog at all.  The two blog-free days that have been were because I’m facing internet connection issues – right up to this moment.  It’s been a couple of days now and it’s starting to get into my nerves.  I can’t believe I’ll be in the situation where I can’t seem to get any help and the only thing left for me to do is wait.  The technicians, who had been in and out of our vicinity for two non-consecutive days trying to figure out, I mean fix the problem, told me they cannot provide any guaranteed solutions because the cause of the trouble is with my ISP’s end.  They said it’s the tower where I get the signal so the least they can do is to report the problem.

Hey, I’ve heard that before.  Reporting, huh?  I bet that’s gonna take forever.  So there…

LOSING IT AGAIN

And so I thought I have my internet connection fixed.

I turned on my computer yesterday only to find out I will be spending the next couple of hours troubleshooting the problem myself.  Talking about asking help from the ISP technical support, I don’t find anything wrong with that but I would rather resolve the trouble on my own rather than letting a few more days slip without access to the web.  I’m suspecting the solution is way too easy to accomplish it can be done right on the spot and it can be something I can handle and manage so let’s just say I’m being practical and I mean practical with all humility aside.

Okay, so with the help of the document saved on my computer, I think the service man left it there intentionally, I got the internet working again.  I was back in business for a couple of minutes and to my surprise, I lost it for the third time, just when I was at the peak of my extensive research.  It really got me annoyed.

I think I need to modify other settings but I have no clue what they are.  Do I need to grab my phone and dial my ISP’s hotline again?

Other options please…
