What a sweet night for Johnny Depp.  He now owns 2 popcorn trophies for his comedic and villainy performances for Pirates of the Caribbean and Sweeny Todd, respectively. 

 

Oh, Zac Efron won too.  I didn’t feel him when I watched Hairspray though.

 

And hooray for Transformers!  It finally got the recognition for being the best movie last year.  For me, it really was the best…

Watch as the Pussycat Dolls perform their single “When I Grow Up” from their upcoming album.  Coldplay will also be on stage performing “Viva La Vida” off from their new album out June 17.

The coveted popcorn does not have any feet to walk on its own and hand over itself to the declared winner of the night so it has to be handed out.  And what’s the best way to usher the honor? Why not get the biggest stars in showbiz to date?

So what’s MTV cookin’ lately?  Whatelse but popcorn – and it’s golden popcorn.   Does this ring a bell? Of course, it’s the 17th annual MTV Movie Awards which airs from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, CA on Sunday, June 1st. 

 

Be amazed as the show unfolds its curtain for a star-studded night full of A-List celebrities, comedic moments, live performances, special apperances and suprises  we should’nt want to miss.  As we all know, this award show is not like any other award shows.  The show speaks for itself.

 

Produced by Emmy Award winning producer, Mark Burnett, the show will be hosted by Mike Myers.  I bet the program’s going to be real fun.

DON’T SPOIL THE IRON

Oh, the buzz about Iron Man is circulating around the office. One of my team mates boastfully speaks of his eagerness to watch the movie right after the shift. Yes! It’s debuting today in Manila, April 30th. So be it my dear officemate. Go to the mall and watch all you want because you’re on off the next day. Just don’t come back to the office or mailing us anything that will spoil our view of the movie. Okay? Shut your mouth out or else your throat will get ironed all over. Enjoy the movie though!
