So who gave me the idea to put up my own blog?
First of all, blogging is not my cup of tea at all. It was my friend and officemate Vanessa who insistently forced me to create one. Take note, she “insistently forced me” and it was her idea all along. I did not bother at first because I am not really into blogging and I did not realize that it will relieve my longtime frustration to writing.
Essa, as what I call her most of the time, and I are sitting right next to each other in the office. We always talk a lot and we often discuss almost anything under the sun. One day, we conversed about blogs. We talked about it so much we even asked testimonials from the people who are already managing more than one blogspots over the internet and getting most out of them. By the end of our conversation, we both agree, and she knows this well, that we can also take advantage of blogs and get something out of them like others do. I have made up my mind and decided to give it a shot. And so here comes the birth of my blog – The Charcoal World.
So why did I venture into blogging?
Well, in my case, it is more of a dream realization. You see, I am neither the best story teller around nor the smartest kind in town, but I have a lot of things to say. Whoa, me? Have I got a lot to share? Of course, I do. I just cannot find the best way to deliver my thoughts and spread them to people whom I have known and to those who will have interest knowing what I am up to lately. Call it frustration but writing has always been a long time dream that I wanted to pursue and I had already given up on it because I thought I do not have the chance. Fortunately, I have found the opportunity to let it all out and have my words read by others.
Maybe I am only looking for something to get busy with, something worthwhile, something exciting, or something to appreciate but I want to do something different. I want to write. I want to share stories – my stories.
So ride along, fasten your seatbelt and come in to the Charcoal World!!!
